Jonas Tomanga

Jonas Tomanga has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Jonas is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at casavi GmbH since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Logic Plus Information Technologies CC as a Managing Partner & Team Lead from 2016 to the present.

In their previous roles, Jonas worked as a Software Engineer at BRYTER from October 2021 to May 2022, where they focused on maintaining and improving performance and scalability. Jonas also worked as a Full-stack Developer at Acrontum GmbH from May 2019 to September 2021, where they specialized in data modeling techniques, migration of source codes, and development for a motor vehicle company.

Before that, Jonas gained experience as a Data Scientist at Standard Bank Namibia from January 2019 to April 2019, where they developed models for selling and cross-selling products using machine learning. Jonas also had previous roles as a Data Science Graduate and Graduate at Standard Bank, where they gained knowledge and experience in various departments including IT, Operations, and Corporate Investment Banking.

Earlier in their career, Jonas worked as a Full Stack Developer at Namibian Businesses Online from April 2013 to 2016. Overall, their work experience showcases a strong technical skill set and a continuous commitment to learning and expanding their expertise.

Jonas Tomanga's education history starts in 2005 when they received their JSC Grade 10 Certificate from Outjo Secondary School. Jonas continued their education there and obtained a Namibian Senior Secondary Certificate in Sciences in 2009. Jonas then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from NUST Namibia, completing it in 2017. In 2018, they attended the University of the Witwatersrand and received a Certificate of Competence in Data Science for Professionals. Additionally, Jonas has obtained various certifications from LinkedIn, including Data Science Foundations, Learning Python, Learning QlikView, DevOps Foundations, Getting Started with Technology: Think Like an Engineer, Java: Data Structures, and Programming Foundations: Data Structures. Jonas also obtained a Neo4j Certified Professional certification in 2019.
