Luca Ferretti

Luca Ferretti is an experienced engineering manager and software engineer currently working at Casavo since September 2020, where responsibilities include accelerating quality shipment and leading software engineering efforts. Ferretti has been actively involved in the Ubuntu Community since 2005, serving as the Italian Translation Team Admin and a technical translator, ensuring timely translations and high-quality documentation for the Ubuntu operating system. Previous experience includes roles as Lead Quality Assurance Engineer at Immobiliare.it, where management of QA teams and development of automated testing were key duties, and technical writing for Codemotion. Additionally, Ferretti contributed to the GNOME Foundation as a release engineer, managing development and release schedules, while also working as an editor and book reviewer for Gruppo Albatros Il Filo. Education includes studies at Sapienza Università di Roma.
