Dominique Blachon

Instructor (lci) at Cascade Bicycle Club

Dominique Blachon has extensive experience in language services, currently serving as a Translator, Interpreter, Editor, Terminologist, and Voice Talent at DeUX Language Services since 1989, working with high-profile clients such as Microsoft and Raytheon. Blachon also contributes as an Instructor at Bellevue College, teaching courses related to vocabulary acquisition and technology for translators, while designing a 30-hour terminology course. As a Certified Instructor for Cascade Bicycle Club, Blachon conducts various bicycle safety and maintenance classes. Previous roles include linguistic positions at Corbis and Microsoft, focusing on database maintenance and language tool testing. Education includes a CAPES degree in Teaching from Université de Grenoble and a DEUG in English from Institut Charles V.

Cascade Bicycle Club

Cascade Bicycle Club, the nation’s largest statewide bicycle organization, is powered by 8,500 members and serves bike riders of all ages and abilities throughout the Puget Sound region and across Washington state. We teach the joys of bicycling, advocate for safe places to ride, and produce world-class rides and events.
