Ashton Genzman

Ashton Genzman has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Division Officer in the US Navy from May 2015 to May 2017. In this role, they were responsible for the daily operation of a 25-member division and mentored team members for career progression.

Following that, Ashton served as a Nuclear Power Training in the US Navy from May 2017 to July 2018. They then became a Lead Division Officer from July 2018 to March 2020, overseeing the daily operation of 30 nuclear-trained sailors and managing reactor safety systems.

From March 2020 to January 2021, Ashton was an Assistant Department Head in the US Navy, responsible for training 380 employees in different reactor plant systems and supervising multiple programs.

In March 2021, Ashton transitioned to the civilian sector as an Energy Efficiency Engineer II at Cascade Energy, Inc. They provided guidance to industrial and agricultural companies on investing in energy efficiency upgrades. Additionally, as a Strategic Energy Management Consultant since January 2023, they have been overseeing the development of client energy teams in an effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and electricity consumption.

Ashton Genzman has a diverse education history. They obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry from the United States Naval Academy, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Following that, in 2017 and 2018, Ashton attended the Nuclear Power School at the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command (NNPTC) to study Nuclear Engineering. In the year 2022, Ashton enrolled in the University of California, Irvine - The Paul Merage School of Business to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, which they are expected to complete in 2024.

In addition to their formal education, Ashton has obtained certifications in various fields. They became an Airbnb Superhost in April 2023, earning the certification from Airbnb. Moreover, in March 2020, Ashton received the Nuclear Engineering Officer certification from Naval Reactors.
