Ashton Genzman has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a Division Officer in the US Navy from May 2015 to May 2017. In this role, they were responsible for the daily operation of a 25-member division and mentored team members for career progression.

Following that, in 2017 and 2018, Ashton attended the Nuclear Power School at the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command (NNPTC) to study Nuclear Engineering. In the year 2022, Ashton enrolled in the University of California, Irvine - The Paul Merage School of Business to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, which they are expected to complete in 2024.

In addition to their formal education, Ashton has obtained certifications in various fields. They became an Airbnb Superhost in April 2023, earning the certification from Airbnb. Moreover, in March 2020, Ashton received the Nuclear Engineering Officer certification from Naval Reactors.
