Assaf Weinberg

Assaf Weinberg has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Assaf started their career as an Operator and Lab Technician at OPTI Canada in 2002, where they worked in an oil upgrading demonstration plant and analyzed process samples. Assaf then joined Ormat Technologies, Inc. in 2004 as an Engineering Intern, where they collected and analyzed data for the operation support group and built a historical power plants database. At Ormat, they also held roles such as Plant Performance Engineer, Resource Engineer, and Senior Resource Engineer, where they worked on geothermal resource management, power generation performance analysis, and project engineering. In 2018, Weinberg joined SUEZ as an Asset Management Engineer, where they implemented CMMS, conducted asset condition assessment, and created database and reporting tools. Assaf is currently working as a Project Engineer II at Cascade Energy, Inc. No end dates were provided for their roles at Cascade Energy, Inc. and SUEZ, indicating that they may still be employed there.

Assaf Weinberg completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Chemical Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where they attended from 2002 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, Assaf has obtained several certifications in various fields. These certifications include Apollo Root Cause Analysis methodology from ARMS Reliability in March 2019, SQL for Data Science from Coursera in June 2018, Crystal Reports from Learning Tree International in March 2018, AutoCAD from Autodesk in November 2017, Six Sigma Green Belt from Aveta Business Institute in July 2017, Using Databases with Python from Coursera in June 2017, Python Data Structures from Coursera in February 2017, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Specialization from Coursera Course Certificates in November 2016.
