Blaine Cloney has a diverse work experience starting in 2018. Blaine began their professional journey as a Chemical Engineering Intern at W. R. Grace & Co., where they were involved in the MECOP program at Oregon State University. Blaine then moved on to become a Teaching Assistant at Oregon State University during the 2018-2019 school year, where they led classes and provided instruction in subjects such as fluid dynamics and mass transport. Following this, they gained valuable experience as a Process Engineering Intern at Linde Electronics and Specialty Gases, where they managed projects related to storage design, code compliance upgrades, and process controls for flammable and corrosive materials. Their most recent position is with Cascade Energy, Inc, where they hold the role of Project Engineer since November 2020.
Blaine Cloney pursued their education in Chemical Engineering, starting in 2015 at Oregon State University. Blaine completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering in 2020. During their academic journey, they exhibited a keen interest in exploring their field further and gained practical knowledge and experience at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) for one year in 2020. Additionally, in September 2019, Blaine Cloney obtained the certification of Chemical Engineering EIT from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES).
