Craig Phillips began their work experience in 1996 at National Semiconductor as an Intermediate Packaging Engineer, where they developed new packaging designs and manufacturing processes. Craig then moved on to SAI Geothermal in 1997, working as a Mechanical Engineer and focusing on designing geothermal power plants. In 2000, Phillips joined Weyerhaeuser as a Project Manager and Research Engineer, conducting audits and managing improvement projects for industrial facilities. In 2008, they became a District Representative at Nalco, responsible for managing industrial accounts and recommending solutions to improve water and air quality. Since 2011, Phillips has been working at Cascade Energy, Inc. as a Senior Project Engineer and Program Manager, specializing in energy cost reduction and productivity improvement for industrial clients.

Craig Phillips has a strong educational background in both business and engineering. Craig obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University, where they studied from 1992 to 1995. Craig then went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same university, completing it from 1995 to 1997.

After gaining a solid foundation in engineering, Craig decided to expand their knowledge by pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business. Craig attended this prestigious school from 2003 to 2005, focusing their studies on business.

In addition to their formal education, Craig has also obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and expertise. Some of these certifications include Intermediate Ammonia Refrigeration Systems from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2011, Qualified Steam System Specialist from the United States Department of Energy in 2008, and Steam System Specialist Level III from the Quantum Steam Organization in 2008.

Craig has also achieved the certification of Competent Communicator from Toastmasters International in 2007 and the Professional Engineer certification from the State of Washington in 2001. These certifications demonstrate their commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
