Orel Smith

Orel Smith currently serves as a Strategic Energy Management Coach at Cascade Energy, LLC, having previously held the same position at AESC, Inc. Orel's expertise involves assisting multifamily and commercial building participants in achieving energy efficiency through customized strategies that incorporate behavioral and organizational changes. Prior experience includes a role as a Project Coordinator at AESC, where Orel managed program activities and facilitated communication among teams. Orel also worked as a Climate Corps Fellow with SEI, collaborating with AESC before transitioning to a full-time position. Earlier career experience includes serving as Editor and Program Manager at Sunflower News, producing reports for the United Nations' Resilient Frontiers initiative. Orel is currently pursuing an MBA at Oregon State University, building on a BS from Portland State University and an additional BS from the University of Washington, complemented by an A.A.S. from Bellevue College.
