Siva Sethuraman

Siva Sethuraman has a diverse work experience in the energy and technology sectors. Siva is currently the Director of Utility Engagement at Cascade Energy, Inc since May 2017. Prior to that, they worked at Pacific Gas and Electric Company from December 2015 to May 2017, starting as the General Manager for High Tech and Real Estate Business Energy Solutions and later becoming the Manager and Principal Lead for Industrial, Ag and Water Programs. At PG&E, they managed customer relationships, led teams, and facilitated energy management initiatives for various sectors. Siva also managed the overall strategy for the industrial and agriculture portfolio, introduced new energy efficiency programs, and assessed emerging technologies. Before PG&E, Siva worked at Altex Technologies Corporation from October 2001 to September 2008 as a Lead Process and Operations Engineer, where they secured funding, assisted in proposal development, and led projects in fuel processing and biomass biofuels. Siva started their career at Process Combustion Corporation as a Process Applications Engineer from May 1998 to October 2001. Additionally, Siva has an educational background in business, having completed an MBA program at UC Berkeley from 2009 to 2012, during which they worked on venture capital projects and participated in various business courses. Overall, Siva has extensive experience in energy management, business development, project management, and technical engineering.

Siva Sethuraman completed their education with a B.Tech degree in Chemical Engineering from Anna University. Siva then pursued a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University, which they completed between 1995 and 1998. Later on, Siva enrolled at the University of California, Berkeley, where they earned an MBA degree in Business Administration from 2008 to 2012.
