Caitlin Townsend Lamb has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Caitlin started their career as a Legal Recruiting Intern at White & Case, LLP in 2006. Caitlin then moved on to work as an Office Manager & Grant Administrator at The Nokomis Foundation from 2007 to 2009.
Since 2009, Caitlin has been associated with Cascade Engineering, where they have held multiple positions. Caitlin started as a Marketing Analyst/Brand Manager, supporting OEM product business unit leadership with market research and project coordination. Caitlin also managed social media strategy for the organization's first B2C product marketing campaign.
Caitlin's role at Cascade Engineering then shifted towards lean enterprise systems and continuous improvement. Caitlin worked as a Lean Enterprise Manager, where they guided stakeholders through hoshin kanri strategy deployment and implementation on the shop floor. Caitlin promoted value stream mapping, kaizen, standard work, and visual management practices.
Later, Caitlin became the Senior Department Manager, Lean Enterprise System, responsible for leading all lean activities from strategy deployment to kaizens at Cascade Engineering's Grand Rapids Campus. Caitlin facilitated lean events and projects, reducing waste and increasing productivity.
In their most recent position at Cascade Engineering, Caitlin served as the Director of People Advancement + Lean Systems. Caitlin led the alignment of business needs with training and development programs, building a talent pipeline throughout the organization. Caitlin also integrated lean systems and tools with performance and learning expectations, instilling a Triple Bottom Line culture for organizational excellence.
Caitlin Townsend Lamb completed their education with a Bachelors degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan between 2005 and 2007. Prior to that, they pursued coursework in Journalism/Political Science at Arizona State University from 2003 to 2005. Caitlin obtained a Diploma from East Grand Rapids High School in 1999.
