Mike Schlecht has extensive experience in tooling design, primarily focusing on the manufacturing of composite aerospace products. Currently serving as a Tools Designer at Cascade Gasket & Manufacturing Inc. since October 2019 and at Woodland Trade Company since June 2017, Mike has a strong background from AIM Aerospace Inc., where Mike worked as a Tool Designer from April 2004 to June 2017. Mike began the career at The Boeing Company, transitioning from a Plaster Plastic toolmaker to a designer using V4 Catia from August 1985 to June 2002. Earlier experience includes working as an Airframe Powerplant Mechanic at Sky Services from June 1977 to August 1985. Mike holds an A&P Certificate in Aviation Maintenance from Clover Park Technical College, obtained between 1982 and 1984, and is proficient in V5 Catia CAD software.
