John Budiao

John Budiao serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Operation Spartan Flags since December 2017, focusing on reducing suicide rates among veterans through a woodworking shop designed to engage veterans and promote their sense of value. Budiao has held various leadership roles, including Scoutmaster for Troop 194 with the Boy Scouts of America since 2006 and Electronics & Controls Technician at NW Natural since 2003. Prior military experience includes positions as a Logistics Readiness Officer in the United States Air Force and Vessel Boarding Security Team Leader in the United States Coast Guard. Budiao also served as an Information Manager in the Air Force and held multiple roles during service with the Marine Corps. Educational credentials include an MBA in General Business from UMT, a BS in Criminal Justice Administration from San Jose State University, ICS classes in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management through FEMA, and a Utility MBA Certificate in Utility Management from Willamette University.
