Chris Walters

Chris Walters is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in various accounting roles. Currently serving as Senior Controller at Cascades since December 2021, Chris previously held key positions including Controller and Assistant Controller at Specialty Product Technologies from February 2020 to December 2021 and October 2016 to February 2020, respectively. Earlier experience includes Accounting Manager at MJ Soffe LLC from July 2010 to September 2016 and Accountant at Cumberland Community Action Program, Inc. for nearly 13 years. Chris began a career in accounting as a Staff Accountant at Haigh, Byrd, & Lambert, CPAs from July 1992 to September 1997. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from East Carolina University.
