Jose Manuel Prieto-Romero

Jose Manuel Prieto-Romero has extensive work experience in the mental health field. Jose Manuel started their career in 1986 as a Bilingual Correctional Counselor with the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office. In 1991, they joined the State of Oregon as a Case Manager III, where they worked until 2005. In 1992, they also started working with Northwest Human Services, Inc. as a Lead Mental Health Counselor. Since 2011, Jose has been working as a Lead Mental Health Residential Counselor with Cascadia Behavioral Healthcare.

Jose Manuel Prieto-Romero completed two Bachelor's degrees in Sociology and Political Science from Southern Oregon University between 1976 and 1980. Jose Manuel also attended the University of Guanajuato in Mexico, where they studied Industrial Relations/Business Administration but did not obtain a degree.
