Mental Health Aide II at Cascadia Health

Nicole Bongard is a dedicated student intern at NEW PATTERN COUNSELING LLC, beginning in August 2024. Previous experience includes serving as a Qualified Mental Health Associate at Telecare Corporation from September 2022 to July 2023 and working as a caregiver at Yellow Rose Inn between April 2020 and March 2021, where responsibilities included assisting elderly residents with daily needs. Nicole also has experience as a peer counselor at UC San Diego from December 2019 to March 2020, where support was provided to new students regarding sociology coursework and workshop facilitation. Early roles included lifeguarding at Creston Community Pool during the summer of 2019, ensuring patron safety, and assisting as a kennel assistant at El Camino Veterinary Hospital in 2018. Educationally, Nicole is pursuing a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology at Northwestern University, having previously obtained bachelor's degrees in Sociology and Applied Psychology from UC Santa Barbara and Sociology from UC San Diego.
