Jim Goddard

Jim Goddard serves as the Board of Directors Liaison for the Sustainable Apparel Coalition since December 2019, leveraging extensive business and board expertise to inform governance and assist in Board engagements. Prior to this role, Jim spent over two decades at Nike, progressing through various leadership positions including Sr. Director of Science and Technology, where innovation in sustainability initiatives was a primary focus. Jim also chaired the Board of Directors at the Sustainable Apparel Coalition from 2009 to 2018, and held a managerial role at Metro, leading waste reduction programs. With engineering experience from Westinghouse Electric Company and Rust International, Jim holds a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Portland State University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown.
