Lukas Heumos

Lukas Heumos has a diverse work experience in the field of regulatory and clinical affairs. Lukas is currently working as the Head of Regulatory and Clinical Affairs at CASCINATION AG, where they have been since July 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Clinical and Regulatory Affairs Manager at the same company from January 2019 to July 2022. In this role, they were responsible for managing the implementation of various standards and regulations in the medical field. Before joining CASCINATION AG, they worked at MED-EL from September 2015 to December 2018, starting as a Clinical Evaluations Manager and later serving as a Team Leader. At MED-EL, they were responsible for overseeing the certification process, conducting literature reviews, and writing clinical evaluation reports. Lukas also has experience in logistics management, having worked as the Management Logistics at ETL Elektrotechnik Lauter GmbH from October 2014 to September 2015. In this role, they managed warehouse inventory and optimized the storage process.

Lukas Heumos obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science from The University of Salford in the years 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they graduated from Jakob-Brucker-Gymnasium Kaufbeuren in 2009 with a degree in Mathematik und Chemie. Additionally, Lukas has obtained several certifications, including Post-Market Surveillance under MDR and Risk Management & ISO 14971 from Johner Institut GmbH in 2021. Lukas also holds certifications in areas such as Corrective and Preventive Action, Functional Safety Certification Program (IEC 61508), MDR (EU) 2017/745, and more. These certifications were obtained between the years 2015 and 2021.
