Jenny Chan, Digital Content Manager, joined Casdin Capital in 2016. She brings a uniquely positive and creative mindset to the firm.
Prior to joining, Jenny was a community outreach worker at Weill Cornell Medical College serving the geriatric population impacted by Hurricane Sandy. Around that same time, she also founded Origami Tree and led arts & crafts workshops to supplement her work with seniors. Today, Origami Tree is a well-known online hub for craft hobbyists worldwide, with over 29 million views and features on the Rachael Ray Show, Business Insider, Google, and NASA. During her free time, she does voice over for Little Angel Nursery Rhymes.
Jenny graduated summa cum laude from New York University with a B.A. in Psychology, Phi Beta Kappa, and earned a M.A. in Psychology in Education from Teachers College, Columbia University.
