Karen Ledecky

Karen Ledecky is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment management and corporate finance. Currently serving as a Commercial Investment Partner and Senior Partner at Casdin Capital, LLC, Karen is responsible for corporate business planning, financial analysis, and leading a team of divisional CFOs while managing a portfolio of 20 seed-stage startups as Deputy Director of Venture Capital. Additionally, Karen holds a board member position at the Ledecky Family Office, focusing on diverse investments including financial technology and biotechnology, while representing family interests in international affairs. Previous roles include Senior Venture Capital Analyst and Investment Manager at Fremont Investors Limited Partnership. Karen holds an Executive MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Master in International Economics from the University of Chicago.
