Andres Pinto

Andres Pinto serves as the Associate Dean of Graduate Studies and Founding Chair of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Medicine and Diagnostic Sciences at Case Western Reserve University, where efforts focus on the education of dental students regarding the role of oral health in broader healthcare teams. Pinto's extensive experience includes directing various programs in oral medicine and serving as a professor and clinical consultant at multiple institutions, including The MetroHealth System and the University of Pennsylvania. With an impressive educational background, including degrees in dentistry, public health, and clinical epidemiology, Pinto has also held leadership positions in professional organizations such as the American Academy of Orofacial Pain and the American Academy of Oral Medicine. Current roles include Associate Editor for the Journal of Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology, and Oral Radiology and contribution to innovative clinical services in oral medicine and orofacial pain.
