Elizabeth Ritz

Elizabeth Ritz, PhD, serves as the Interim Director of Teacher Education at Case Western Reserve University from August 2024. Previously, Elizabeth held the position of Chair of the Division of Professional Education at Notre Dame College in 2024 and has been instrumental in leading undergraduate and graduate programs in early childhood education and literacy since 2018. Previous roles include Associate Professor of Early Childhood Education at Notre Dame College, Adjunct Instructor at Bowling Green State University, and Adjunct Professor and Clinical Practice Supervisor at Baldwin Wallace University. Elizabeth's educational background includes a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Literacy from Kent State University, alongside a Master of Arts in Education and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Baldwin Wallace University and Kent State University, respectively.
