Maureen Purcell

Maureen Purcell is a seasoned fundraising professional with extensive experience in development and donor relations. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Development Programs at Case Western Reserve University since October 2014, Maureen plays a crucial role in enhancing the School of Medicine's image and brand through strategic communications, stewardship, and event management. Previously, in the role of Director of Development for Surgery, Maureen focused on disease-based fundraising efforts to secure major gifts. Prior to joining Case Western, Maureen worked at the United Way of Greater Cleveland from June 2006 to September 2014, where responsibilities included directing donor engagement initiatives through various affinity groups and managing campaign projects and special events. Maureen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Mercyhurst University, earned between 2000 and 2004.
