Oluwatoni Shoyinka

Oluwatoni Shoyinka is currently serving as a Mayoral Fellow at the Detroit Health Department, focusing on the investigation of reportable disease cases and researching data collection weaknesses in the Communicable Disease and Epidemiology divisions since June 2024. In addition, Oluwatoni has been a Campus Tour Guide at Case Western Reserve University since January 2023 and a Tutor at the Technology Laboratory and Professional Development Center (t.Lab) since November 2020. Previous experience includes a position as a Phlebotomist at Livonia Family Physicians, PC, in July and August 2022, and a role as a Hostess at China Cafe from March 2021 to July 2022. Oluwatoni is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree at Case Western Reserve University, expected to graduate in May 2026, and obtained a High School Diploma from Novi High School in June 2022.
