Sakrit Hait

Sakrit Hait is a highly skilled researcher with extensive experience in polymer technology, currently serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Case Western Reserve University since November 2024, focusing on Thermoplastic Polyurethanes (TPUs)-based nanocomposites. Prior to this role, Sakrit held a postdoctoral position at the University of Calgary, where research involved graphene-based thin films and recycled polyethylene terephthalate (rPET)-based nanocomposites for EMI shielding applications. Previous research experience includes work on polymer recycling at Leibniz-Institut für Polymerforschung Dresden and sustainable polymer composites during doctoral studies at Technische Universität Dresden. Sakrit completed a Master of Technology in Rubber Technology at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur and holds a Bachelor of Technology in Polymer Science & Technology from the University of Calcutta, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the same institution.
