Courtney Widli

Courtney Widli is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Communications Manager at Casella Waste Systems, Inc. since October 2021. With a background in freelance writing and public relations management since 2011, Courtney has successfully assisted various clients in brand promotion, notably supporting local artist Peter Huntoon. Previous roles at Castleton University spanned from Assistant Director of University Relations to Director of Development and Alumni Affairs, where Courtney was instrumental in fundraising initiatives and alumni engagement. Additional experience includes reporting for the Rutland Herald and editing for the Castleton Spartan Newspaper. Courtney holds a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Media and Communication Management, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Communication and Media Studies from Castleton University.
