Michael K. Burke

Michael K. Burke is the current Board Member at Casella Waste Systems. Michael has also previously served as the Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer at LANDAUER Inc. from January 2012 to June 2014.

At LANDAUER Inc., Burke was responsible for leading a 15-member cross-functional team as well as the outsourced Internal Audit team. Michael was also in charge of the company's global finance, corporate development and investor relations. Some of their notable accomplishments during their time at the company include placing it on a trajectory for sustainable, profitable revenue growth and counseling the CEO on leadership/ organizational change management.

Prior to joining LANDAUER Inc., Burke worked as an Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP from September 2007 to December 2011. There, they provided assurance services to clients in various industries such as technology, life sciences, retail and consumer products, and banking and capital markets.

Burke is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Lehigh University as well as a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School.
