Steve Washington

Steve Washington has over 25 years of experience in the business and legal sectors. Steve began their career in 1987 as a Project Manager, Management Consultant, and Analyst for the New York City Mayor's Office of Operations. In 1995, they became an Associate at Debevoise & Plimpton, where they worked on mergers and acquisitions, securities, and general corporate transactions. Steve then moved to Squire Sanders in 1997, where they advised on mergers and acquisitions, securities, and general corporate transactions. In 2000, they joined Jones Day as a Senior Associate, where they were responsible for planning, negotiating, and managing complex business transactions. In 2006, they became the Managing Director of Business Development, Media Spokesperson, and General Counsel at Life Equity LLC, where they were part of the executive team that grew the company from 20 to 120+ employees. In 2015, they founded QF Solutions LLC and identified and introduced Janicki Bioenergy, LLC's ground-breaking waste processing technologies. Finally, in 2010, they co-founded Casentric, LLC and conceived, designed, and developed CaseXpert\u00ae, a cloud enterprise SaaS application that transforms evaluation and settlement of third party bodily injury claims.

Steve Washington has an extensive educational background. Steve received their J.D. from Cardozo School of Law, their M.P.A. (Master of Public Administration) from Columbia | SIPA, their B.A. from University of Wisconsin-Madison in International Relations, and attended Middlebury College School in Paris. Steve also holds a Master of Public Administration - MPA from Columbia University, which they obtained between 1986 and 1988.
