Dan O'Neill has a diverse background in the field of business intelligence and technology. Dan started their career at Gartner, where they served as a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, providing strategic expertise and implementing reporting solutions for various business units. Dan also worked as an Executive Programs Analyst, acting as a liaison between executives and Gartner's resources.
Later, O'Neill joined Avon as an Associate Project Manager, where they managed the upgrade and redesign of Avon's Leadership Manager platform. Dan then moved on to Coty Inc., where they held multiple positions, including Director of Global Business Intelligence Solution Delivery for the Finance domain, Director of Global Business Intelligence Solution Delivery, and Senior Manager of Global Business Intelligence Solution Delivery. In these roles, they were responsible for executing the reporting and analytics strategy, managing project budgets, and driving change management initiatives.
O'Neill also worked at DSM as a Global B2C IT Business Partner, where they led the technology strategy and execution for DSM's i-Health subsidiary. Dan implemented an organizational transformation, reducing IT costs and improving operational efficiency. Additionally, they spearheaded initiatives to drive a digital culture shift and modernize legacy ERP platforms.
Most recently, O'Neill has joined McKinsey & Company and Caserta as an Engagement Manager.
Dan O'Neill earned their Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from Saint Joseph's University, which they attended from 1995 to 1999. Dan then pursued a Master's degree in Business Intelligence at the Saint Joseph's University - Erivan K. Haub School of Business, graduating in 2010. Prior to their university education, Dan attended Fairfield College Preparatory School for their high school education from 1991 to 1995. Additionally, in September 2014, Dan obtained a certification as a Microstrategy Certified Dashboard and Mobile Designer v9.4 from MicroStrategy.
