Darilynn Averett

Darilynn Averett, LMSW, SIFI, possesses extensive experience in social work and psychotherapy, specializing in cases involving families and youth in crisis. With a Master of Social Work from New York University, Darilynn has worked as a Case Manager at Safe Horizon and as a Clinical Social Worker at the Lower Eastside Service Center, where services included managing complex cases and providing substance abuse counseling. Currently, Darilynn offers telehealth psychotherapy through Comprehensive Counseling LCSWs while also serving as a Reentry Therapist for The Center for Alternative Sentencing and Employment Services (CASES). Previous roles include working with youth in the criminal justice system at Rising Ground and providing therapeutic services at The Children's Village.
