Randy Tessier

Randy Tessier has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Randy is currently working at Casetext as an Enterprise Customer Success Manager, starting in February 2023. Previously, they served as an Assistant Public Defender at Fulton County Public Defender from March 2021 to February 2023, where they explained legal concepts to non-legally trained clients, managed a large caseload, and advocated for clients in oral arguments. Before that, they worked at Williams & Thomas as an Associate from December 2020 to March 2021. Randy also gained experience as a Legal Writing Intern at Fulton County District Attorney's Office from March 2020 to December 2020. Additionally, they served as a Student Attorney at Barton Appeals for Youth Clinic from August 2018 to April 2020 and as a Legal Intern at Dekalb County Public Defender from May 2018 to March 2020. Prior to their legal career, Randy worked as a Law Clerk in Commercial Litigation at Rountree Leitman & Klein, LLC from October 2018 to December 2019. Randy also has experience in marketing and IT, having worked as a Marketing Associate/IT Technician at J. Tech Sales from May 2016 to August 2017. Before that, they worked at PCM: The Right Technology, Delivered. as an Account Executive from June 2015 to May 2016 as part of a one-year abroad program. Randy started their professional journey as a Customer Service Intern at Florida Power & Light Company from May 2014 to May 2015, where they gained expertise in customer service and conflict resolution.

Randy Tessier has a diverse education history. Randy completed their Doctor of Law - JD degree at Emory University School of Law from 2017 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree Honors in English Language and Literature from Florida International University in 2015. Randy also holds an Associate of Arts (A.A.) Honors degree in English Language and Literature, General, from Palm Beach State College.

In addition to their formal education, Randy has obtained several certifications. Randy acquired a Georgia License to Practice Law from the State Bar of Georgia in November 2021. In June 2015, they obtained certifications in Adapter Associate and HP Adapter Sales Associate from Hewlett-Packard. Randy also received the VSP 2015 certification from VMware in June 2015. Furthermore, Randy holds a Legal Research Certification from LexisNexis, which they obtained in October 2017.
