Troy Gjerde has had a diverse range of roles and responsibilities in the construction industry. Troy began their career at Granite Construction as a Project/Field Engineer in 2001 and then moved on to work as a Project Engineer at Ames Construction from 2002 to 2004. Troy joined Haydon Building Corp as a Project Manager in 2004 and worked in that role for nearly a decade until 2013.
In 2013, Gjerde joined Webber as the Area Manager for the South Texas Region. Troy oversaw a large workforce of 600 skilled craft workers and 50 professional staff members. Troy managed projects and project teams from estimating to procurement through turnover to clients. Troy then became the Vice President for the South Texas Region within the same company in 2016. In 2017, Gjerde joined OHL North America as the Operations Manager for California, and in 2018, they became the Project Director at Zachry Construction Corporation.
Gjerde then joined Pulice Construction, Inc. in 2019 as the Executive Vice President for Texas until 2021. Troy then moved on to Balfour where they served as Vice President until 2023. Currently, Gjerde holds the position of Senior Vice President of Operations at Cash Construction Company, Inc., beginning in May 2023.
Troy Gjerde obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Superior. Troy attended the university from 1993 to 1998.
