Nicolás Curat

CTO & Co-Founder at Cashea

Nicolás Curat began their work experience as an Assistant Teacher at Universidad Austral, Argentina in February 2016. Nicolás provided teaching support for an engineering maths course, assisted in grading, and led tutoring sessions. In November and December 2016, they continued in the same role, focusing on lecture problem-solving and providing feedback.

In 2018, Curat joined Metro Smart Cities as a Project Manager. Nicolás contributed to the development of Artificial Intelligence computer solutions aimed at enhancing cities' quality of life and competitiveness. Nicolás utilized innovative tools to improve user experience and implemented data science to support business solutions. Nicolás worked in this position until October 2021.

Curat's most recent role is as the CTO & Co-Founder of Cashea, a Buy Now Pay Later company in Venezuela. Since March 2022, they have been responsible for leading technological efforts and co-founding the company. Cashea offers consumer loans with 0% interest rates in four installments, aiming to provide financial solutions that empower customer growth.

Nicolás Curat completed their education from 2015 to 2020 at Universidad Austral, Buenos Aires, where they obtained a Grado/Licenciatura degree in Ingeniería informática (Computer Engineering). In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including Cloud Engineering with Google Cloud Specialization, Elastic Google Cloud Infrastructure: Scaling and Automation, Essential Google Cloud Infrastructure: Core Services, Essential Google Cloud Infrastructure: Foundation, Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure, Preparing for the Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer Exam, Building Resilient Streaming Analytics Systems on GCP, and Scrum Foundations Professional Certificate (SFPC) - (Spanish). These certifications were earned from institutions such as Coursera and CertiProf, with the most recent certification obtained in May 2020.
