Ananda Kumar

Ananda Kumar has a diverse work background with experience in various industries. Ananda is currently working at Cashew, where they hold a role in Investments & Strategic Partnerships. Prior to this, Ananda worked as a Partner at Avere Capital Advisors, a firm that provides Investment Banking and Advisory Services. At Life Wear Technologies, Inc., Ananda served as the Director of Business Development and was responsible for expanding the company's presence in the MEA Region. Ananda also held the position of Head of Investments & Corporate Strategy at Julphar - Gulf Pharmaceuticals Industries PSC, where they managed the group's portfolio and identified M&A opportunities. Ananda's previous roles include General Manager at Gulf Inject LLC, Head of Business Development at PKC Advisory, and CEO & Member of the Board of Directors at Sharekhan Investment Services Ltd - DIFC. Ananda also has experience as a Sales Manager at Huntsman Advanced Materials, Head of Business Development at Gulbrandsen Technologies, and as an Industry Consultant at Frost & Sullivan.

Ananda Kumar began their education journey in 1990 when they enrolled at Bharathiar University. Ananda pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and completed their studies in 1993. Following this, between 1993 and 1996, Ananda attended the Institute of Chemical Technology where they earned an Engineer's Degree in Chemical Technology.

In 1997, Ananda joined the Sydenham Institute of Management Studies, Research and Entrepreneurship Education, where they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Marketing. Ananda successfully completed their studies in 1999.

Moving ahead to the more recent years, Ananda enrolled in the Columbia Business School in 2018. Ananda embarked on a program to obtain an International Certificate in Corporate Finance, focusing on the field of Corporate Finance. Their enrollment at Columbia Business School extended through 2019.

In addition to their formal degrees, Ananda also obtained several certifications. In December 2017, they acquired a Certificate in Due Diligence and Business Valuation from The CPD Certification Service. In September 2017, they completed a Corporate Finance Masterclass, also certified by The CPD Certification Service.
