Shashank Khanna

Shashank Khanna is the Founder and CEO of Cashmere, a company funded by YCombinator and other prominent investors since November 2021. Prior to this role, Shashank worked as a Senior Software Engineer at SoFi in 2021, focusing on integrating acquired businesses. From 2017 to 2021, Shashank was a Software Engineer at Amazon, where contributions included developing backend code for the "Buy now with 1-click" feature and migrating to a new payment processing system. Earlier experience includes software engineering positions at UCLA Health and consulting work for Nordstrom, a mushroom farm, and iPhone game development between 2013 and 2016. Shashank began a career in finance as a Summer Analyst at Impact Investment Exchange in 2014 and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from UCLA.
