Tim Whalen, CMP, has extensive experience in the meetings and events industry, currently serving as Strategic Manager of Resort Sales & Conference Services at Niagara Casinos since June 2010. Tim oversees over 30,000 square feet of convention space and three signature dining venues. In addition to this role, Tim is the Vice Chair of the Regional Council of Canada for Meeting Professionals International, a Co-Founder and Advisory Board Member of the EVENT, and previously co-hosted The Illuminate Project Podcast. Tim has held leadership positions in MPI Toronto Chapter, including Immediate Past President and President, enhancing member engagement and educational opportunities. Tim's prior experience includes roles at NexTech AR Solutions, Vintage Hotels, and White Oaks Resort & Spa, where Tim focused on business development and sales within the corporate and conference sectors. Tim holds a BA in Business Communications from Brock University.
