Kevin McCullough has a diverse work experience in the music industry. Kevin started their career as an independent contractor and musician, specializing in jazz, Afro-Cuban/Latin jazz, salsa, rock 'n roll, and R&B/Funk/Soul. Kevin has performed for various cruise lines, festivals, receptions, weddings, restaurants, hotels, and other venues and events in the San Jose, Bay Area, and Monterey areas. Kevin has also given master classes on Afro-Cuban jazz and arranging at educational institutions.

In 2017, Kevin became a music teacher at Oak Grove School District. Prior to that, they worked as a Northern California (Musical Instrument) Product Specialist for Casio USA starting in 2015.

Kevin served as the Contemporary Worship Music Director at Los Gatos United Methodist Church from 2014 to 2022. In this role, they led and mentored the contemporary worship team, collaborated with the pastoral team on song choices, and worked with volunteer musicians.

From 2011 to 2013, Kevin worked as a pianist for Princess Cruises and Carnival UK (P&O Cruises & Cunard). Kevin also had previous experience as a pianist, percussionist, stage manager, and other roles in the music industry, including work with Children's Musical Theater San Jose.

Kevin McCullough completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Jazz Studies (Jazz Piano performance) from San Jose State University, graduating in 2007. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from the same institution, which they completed in 2010. In 2011, they obtained a Credential in Secondary Education from San Jose State University.
