Sanjoy Sanyal

Sanjoy leads the Environment & Sustainability portfolio. He provides oversight on deals and guidance on the overall strategic approach toward building Caspian’s portfolio in this sector.

Sanjoy is also the Founder of Regain Paradise which works with investors, entrepreneurs, consultancies, and think tanks to promote environmental innovation in emerging Asia and Africa. He has worked on several projects with leading sustainability consulting firms Adelphi and Tetratech. He has also worked with WRI, the leading global think tank in the area of environment and development. His work experience ranges from Bangladesh, Cambodia, Myanmar, India (in Asia), Kenya, Ghana, and Tanzania (in Africa). Sanjoy is also a Visiting Fellow at the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge.

Sanjoy is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and a post-graduate from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
