Simone Maga

Simone Maga has extensive work experience in the field of information security and risk management. Simone started their career as a Network Engineer Jr. at Pelligra Roberto Srl in 1996 and later worked as a Security & Network Engineer at Didascoweb from 1998 to 2001. From 2000 to 2003, they served as a Senior Security Engineer at Advanced Global Solution.

In 2003, Maga joined Banca Mediolanum, where they held various roles over a period of 16 years. These roles included Security & Network Architect, Security Service Management Process CMMI/ITILv3/SGSI, Project Manager of Information Security Initiatives, Security Governance, and IT Risk & Security. During their tenure at Banca Mediolanum, they were responsible for defining and overseeing cybersecurity and IT risk plans, coordinating outsourcing contracts for managed security services, and designing security services for business initiatives.

In 2019, Maga joined Gruppo Cassa Centrale as the CISO - Chief Information Security Officer, where they set up the Group Security Governance from scratch. Simone developed security processes, implemented integrated controls and KPI models, and coordinated specific initiatives such as Data Classification and Security Awareness. In 2020, they also served as the Head of IT Security Operations (a.i.) at Allitude S.p.A., where they implemented the Allitude Cybersecurity foundation and transformation strategy.

Throughout their career, Maga has demonstrated expertise in security strategy development, cybersecurity program implementation, risk management, and project management. Simone'swork experience spans across multiple industries, showcasing their adaptability and versatility in different organizational settings.
