Caitlin Russell

Caitlin Russell (she/her/hers) is a partner in the Employment & Labour Group at Cassels. Caitlin provides strategic advice to employers on a wide variety of employment issues including drafting employment agreements, structuring termination packages, employment issues arising in corporate transactions, compliance with employment standards and AODA, workplace policies and training, human rights issues, and the use of independent contractors. Caitlin also regularly acts for employers in civil and regulatory proceedings, having appeared before the Court of Appeal for Ontario, Divisional Court, Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario and Ontario Labour Relations Board. Caitlin is a frequent presenter and contributor to firm publications on current trends in Canadian employment law, with a particular focus on issues faced by Ontario employers.
