Jacqueline L. Van Der Wey

Jacqueline is an associate attorney in the firm's Chicago office. She focuses her practice on a wide range of civil litigation defenses.

Prior to joining Cassiday, Jacqueline worked as a law clerk in the Policy Department at the Indiana General Attorney's Office. She also clerked at several, prominent litigation firms where she gained valuable skills in the areas of Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, Commercial Litigation, and Employment Litigation. Jacqueline's current areas of practice include Medical Malpractice and Healthcare Litigation, and Products Liability defense.

Jacqueline earned her degree from Indiana University, Maurer School of Law, where she served as an executive member of the Women's Law Caucus, and a notes editor for the Indiana Journal of Global Legal Studies. Additionally, Jacqueline earned Dean's Honors and participated in the Sherman Minton Moot Court Competition, for which she received brief writing honors. Jacqueline also volunteered her time to the Protective Order Project where she assisted clients in obtaining protective orders and navigating the legal system.

Jacqueline is a member of the Illinois bar and is licensed to practice in Illinois.
