Michael P. Moothart

Michael P. Moothart is a partner in the firm's Chicago office and has served on the Hiring Committee. He concentrates his practice on civil litigation, with an emphasis on the defense of construction, transportation and medical negligence matters.

Michael's construction practice includes the representation of developers, general contractors, subcontractors and design professionals in personal injury and commercial litigation. He also regularly serves as counsel for one of the nation’s largest waste management companies in transportation litigation. Michael is often called upon to conduct immediate responses to serious accidents involving construction and transportation clients. He also has extensive experience in product liability and commercial litigation.

Michael is involved in several professional organizations including the Defense Research Institute (DRI), Illinois State Bar Association and Wisconsin Bar Association.
