Carlos Viegas is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in technical leadership and system development, particularly in COBOL mainframe and cloud applications. Currently serving as a Solutions Architect and Technical Leader at Cast group since April 2023, Carlos focuses on integrating legacy systems with Java microservices, implementing RESTful APIs, and utilizing modern technologies such as Java, Quarkus, and Docker. Previously, Carlos held various roles at Banco do Brasil from June 2009 to April 2023, where responsibilities included managing technical teams, leading modernization efforts for banking services, and developing key transactional features.
