Nailo Sears

Nailo Sears has over 20 years of work experience in the Information Technology (IT) field. From 1997 to 2004, they worked as a System Administrator for the US Army. In 2001, they took on the role of Team Lead/COMSEC Custodian/Retention NCO at the US Army Network Operations Security Center. In 2004, they were a Desktop Support Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge/COMSEC Custodian/Equal Opportunity Advisor and a Hardware Technician/Equal Opportunity Advisor for the US Army. From 2008 to 2011, they were a Cyber Network Operations Team Lead at the Army Global Network Operations Security Center/ACOIC/ARCYBER. In 2011, they were a Watch Officer (Consultant) at Jacobs Technology. From 2012 to 2013, they were an Intrusion Detection (IDS) Analyst at Castalia Systems - National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). From 2013 to 2016, they were a Senior Cyber Defense Engineer - Level 4 at Castalia Systems - National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). Finally, from 2016 to present, they have been a Process Improvement Engineer at Castalia Systems.

Nailo Sears attended the United States Army School of Technology prior to enrolling in Excelsior University from 2010 to 2013. Nailo then attended ECPI University from 2006 to 2007, where they obtained their Licensed Practical Nurse degree. Sears also holds various certifications from Cisco, EXIN, EC-Council, CompTIA, and Sourcefire, part of Cisco.
