Nicholas Waligura

Nicholas Waligura has extensive work experience in the energy industry. Nicholas currently holds the position of Vice President - Production at Castex Energy, Inc. and has been in this role since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Production Manager at the same company from May 2019 to January 2022.

Before joining Castex Energy, Inc., Waligura held various positions at Eagle Energy Inc. Nicholas served as the Vice President - Operations for Eagle Hydrocarbons Inc. from February 2017 to January 2019. Prior to this, they were an Operations Manager from March 2015 to February 2017 and worked as a Senior Completion & Production Engineer from April 2013 to March 2015.

Waligura also gained experience at Hess Corporation, where they worked as a Completions Engineering Advisor for the Bakken Asset from April 2012 to April 2013.

Earlier in their career, Waligura worked at BP, where they held multiple roles. These include Well Intervention Engineer for Anadarko Basin and East Texas Assets from March 2009 to April 2012, Production Engineer for Anadarko Basin (TX Panhandle & OK) from April 2006 to March 2009, Lead Production Engineer for Greater Cassia (Offshore Trinidad) from April 2005 to April 2006, Well Intervention Engineer for Grand Isle 43 & 47 Fields (Offshore Shelf GoM) from April 2004 to March 2005, and Production Engineer for Pompano Platform (Deepwater GoM) from April 2003 to March 2004.

Furthermore, Waligura started their career as a Summer Internship at BP in 2002 and held a Summer & Winter Break Internship position at Baker Hughes, a GE company in 2001. Nicholas also gained experience as a Summer Internship at Schlumberger in 2000.

Nicholas Waligura earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University, from 1998 to 2003.
