Dawn Schiller, M.A. has extensive work experience in the fields of anti-violence, anti-trafficking, survivor leadership, and trauma-informed practices. Dawn has served as a Training Director for the Coalition to Abolish Slavery & Trafficking (CAST) and has been involved in developing and managing programs, curriculum, workshops, and trainings that focus on equity, inclusion, and support for vulnerable populations. Dawn has also worked as a consultant, speaker, trainer, and subject matter expert, delivering keynotes and speeches on various topics related to their expertise. Dawn has provided consulting and training services to private and public organizations in healthcare, law enforcement, education, and other sectors. Dawn has also worked with government agencies such as the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, where they have been involved in reviewing, developing, and consulting on victim-centered and survivor-informed approaches for anti-trafficking programs. Additionally, Dawn has experience as a motivational speaker, author, founder of a non-profit organization, and administrative coordinator. Dawn has also taught as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Oregon State University, providing teaching and support services in the field of women's and gender studies.
Dawn Schiller, M.A. obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Communications along with a minor in Gender Studies from Eastern Oregon University, where they attended from 2007 to 2012. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued their Master of Arts degree in Women, Gender, and Sexuality at Oregon State University, which they completed from 2013 to 2020.
