Lenny Hoag

Lenny Hoag is an experienced embedded firmware engineer currently working at Castle Creations since July 2022, focusing on the development of embedded firmware for DC motor electronic speed controllers using C and ARM processors with FreeRTOS. Prior to this role, Lenny served as Solutions Engineering Manager at VIAVI Solutions from April 2018 to June 2022, and held the same title during the transition from Cobham Wireless to VIAVI, where responsibilities included managing the TM500 product line, a leader in 3GPP Radio Access Network testing since joining Aeroflex in 2005. Lenny has also held significant positions at Anritsu Corporation, contributing as Senior Staff Member/Project Leader from 1997 to 2005, where projects included the development of CMDA2000 baseband software. Earlier experience includes serving as Senior Software Engineer and Project Team Leader at Texas Instruments/Raytheon, focusing on real-time embedded software for military applications. Lenny holds a BSEE in Digital Design and a BSCSE in Computer Science from the University of Florida.
