Munir Henry has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. Munir began their career as Manager and Office Administrator for Pizzicato, a restaurant located on E Burnside in Portland. In 2013, they moved to CBRE as a Client Services Assistant. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as a Licensed Real Estate Broker at Urban Nest Realty and Keller Williams Realty Professionals, where they were responsible for lead generation and qualification, showing property, open houses, contract drafting, inspection and bid coordination, negotiation, advising on financing and escrow services, and market research. Since 2019, they have worked at Castle Rock Associates, Inc. as a Software Development Project Manager. In this role, they serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for multiple client agencies, manages daily email/phone communications, identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves software bugs and other issues, performs QA testing and deployment coordination, provides answers to functional/technical questions, produces weekly reports on project status, and provides monthly system usage statistics to clients.

Munir Henry attended Portland Community College from 2004 to 2005 and Portland State University from 2005 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature/Letters. In December 2019, they obtained a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance. Munir also holds a Real Estate License from the Oregon Real Estate Agency.
