Alyssa Thompson

Alyssa Thompson is an experienced educator currently working at Castleberry ISD since January 2023. Previously held roles include Learning & Development Specialist and HR Generalist at JCT Logistics, and Level Lead Educator at Arlington ISD, where Alyssa taught Advanced Placement Biology, Advanced Placement Environmental Science, and Environmental Systems. Leadership experience includes serving as the Environmental Systems Planning & Learning Community Level Lead. Alyssa was recognized as Uplift Grand Middle School Teacher of the Year in 2019 while working at Uplift Education. Additional professional experiences include roles as a Veterinary Technician at Banfield Pet Hospital, Wildlife Nutrition Intern at the Fort Worth Zoo, and Help Desk Technician and Residential Assistant at Tarleton State University. Alyssa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Tarleton State University.
