Tim Hickman

Tim Hickman is an experienced professional in the animal nutrition and health sector, currently serving as the General Manager Commercial for New Zealand at Castlegate James Australasia since June 2025. Previously, Tim held the role of Global Product Development Director for Commercial Operations at Argenta, where a comprehensive Molecule to Market approach was employed to manage product development projects. As Commercial Director for Asia Pacific at Nutreco, Tim oversaw sales strategies and innovation partnerships, and earlier roles included Global Innovation Director and Global Marketing Portfolio Director at Trouw Nutrition, where leadership in ruminant nutrition and market analysis was key. Tim's career also includes significant positions at MSD Animal Health UK Ltd, Schering Pharmaceuticals, and experience with sales and marketing at The Dutch Meat Board and John Deere. Tim holds dual degrees in Economics and Marketing from the University of Otago.
