Kaustubh Mukhopadhyay has a diverse range of experience in software development and technology leadership roles. Kaustubh is currently a founding team member and the VP Tech and Product Strategy at Castler, where they are responsible for the technical and product feasibility, deliverability, and system architecture of the company's software solutions. In addition, they work with top management, engineering, and product heads to build the roadmap and execution strategy for product development. At Castler, Kaustubh is also the Technology Lead, overseeing the development of India's largest secure and customizable trust-based digital escrow platform. Kaustubh architects the entire enterprise technology solution on AWS and is hands-on in development using Node.js, AngularJS, ReactJS, and PHP Laravel.
Prior to their current role, Kaustubh worked at EBSCO Information Services as a Senior Engineer, where they mentored interns and engineers and collaborated with sales and training teams. Kaustubh also contributed to the development of a new product called Stacks, which focuses on creating library and learning interfaces. Previously, they served as a Discovery Service Engineer and Technical Consultant for EBSCO, primarily working with their software products, including EBSCO Discovery Service, Open Athens, and Ebscohost online databases. In this role, they closely collaborated with the sales and marketing team to identify potential customers, understand requirements, and develop solutions.
Before joining EBSCO, Kaustubh worked as a Software Engineer at Mtree Software Pvt. Ltd, where they developed different modules for the Network Defense Trainer project, including input forms, live connectivity to native applications, and various widgets for exercise reviewing. Kaustubh started their career as a Programming Intern at the National Informatics Centre, MeitY, where they built a web application for the canteen staff and management committee using Oracle Express 10g and Wamp Server.

Kaustubh Mukhopadhyay completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Business Administration and Management from XLRI Jamshedpur in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from Jaypee Institute Of Information Technology in the years 2009 to 2013. Additionally, they completed their Class XII education at Sardar Patel Vidyalaya. Alongside their formal education, Kaustubh also obtained various certifications including Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals, The Complete Java Certification Course from Udemy, Smart Contracts from Coursera, Advanced Google Analytics from Google Analytics, and many others.
